GIFT CARDS: TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

 

1. These terms and conditions tell you about the legal terms and conditions which apply to your purchase and use of a physical Jesaytattooer gift card. 

2. These gift card terms apply to Jesaytattooer physical gift cards purchased at the tattoo studio location as well as mailed gift cards purchased online through email (Jesayvntattooer@gmail.com) or branded social media such as Instagram (@Jesaytattooer), and Facebook (@ Jessica Van Noord Art).

3. Jesaytattooer reserves the right to update and change the terms and conditions of our Jesaytattooer gift cards at any time. This does not affect your legal rights. Use of your Jesaytattooer tattoo gift card constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and we therefore recommend you read them carefully. It is your responsibility to check these gift card terms from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes which may have been made. Jesaytattooer gift cards remain the property of Jesaytattooer who maintains the right to cancel the card in its sole discretion in situations where it is deemed necessary to do so (such as to comply with applicable laws or as a result of circumstances beyond its control).

 

4. The value of your Jesaytattooer gift card can be redeemed at Jesaytattooer studio located in Canada if it is used within the expiry date — one (1) year since the date of purchase.

 

5. The Jesaytattooer gift card is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full.

Validity

 

6. Your Jesaytattooer gift card is valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase following which they expire automatically. A gift card cannot be used after the expiry date and any remaining balance will be removed and the card will become invalid and no longer available for use. The expiry date is set on your gift card. We have no obligation to remind you of a gift card’s expiry and it is your sole responsibility to ensure that any balance is used prior to expiry.

 

7. A Gift Card expires automatically once its balance is fully used. Once the card is fully used, it is going to be stamped as “VOID”. A Gift Card may not be topped up with additional funds in any circumstances. If a gift card is fully used or expired, a new one needs to be purchased.

 

8. Gift Cards can be used to pay for the tattoo services provided at Jesaytattooer physical location. 

 

9. Gift Card cannot be used to pay the initial deposit of $200 + GST. If used for deposit it will be subjected to Jesaytattooer deposit terms and agreements. Jesaytattooer reserves the right to update and change the terms and conditions of our Jesaytattooer deposit terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check these deposit terms from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes which may have been made. 

 

10. Only one (1) gift card can be used per appointment.

 

11. Gift Card can be purchased and transferred to a member of a family, relative, friend, or acquaintance.

 

12. Jesaytattooer studio has the right to decline the use of the gift card if a staff member was not able to verify the validity of it. (Lost/Stolen/Damaged).

 

13. You are solely responsible for the safe keeping and security of your gift card following the purchase of it at Jesaytattooer. In cases where your Jesaytattooer gift card is lost, stolen or damaged, Jesaytattooer is only able to replace or reimburse the paid balance on a card if the unique card number is saved and matches our records. All Jesaytattooer Ink gift cards have a unique card number hidden on the back of the card, which is required for purchases. Jesaytattooer cannot be held responsible for any unauthorized use where the card number have become known to another party.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

 

14. These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia

 15. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Canadian courts.

 

16. To use this gift card you have to be 18 years of age or older.

 

17. No gift cards can be purchased and used at the same date and time of the clients appointment. 

 

18. At Jesaytattooer studio a artist can say no at any time, if they are not comfortable with the clients design, the style or the subject matter and don’t feel confident in executing the piece presented to them. It is  recommend the gift cards are bought for existing clients or people that are interested in the artists specific art style that are open to design and artistic creativity. If you are unsure if the artist will take on your project, it is your responsibility to reach out prior to purchasing a Jesaytattooer gift card to be sure it will be a piece the artist is able to take on.

 

19. Jesaytattooer Gift cards are only sold as hourly options
